Submit a Letter of Inquiry
In order to focus the impact of the Foundation’s giving, beginning July 1, 2021, The Sara Giles Moore Foundation will no longer accept Letters of Inquiry from organizations which have not received funding prior to 2017.
Nonprofits which meet this requirement must submit a Letter of Inquiry (LOI) to be considered for a grant from the Foundation.
In order to be considered for a grant, you must complete a Letter of Inquiry (LOI).
Step 1
Once you have logged in to the grant portal, you will enter the “Applicant Dashboard” page. At the top of this page, in the black header, click on the “Apply” link.
Next, find the current open LOI cycle, for example “SGMF – Fall 2019 Letter of Inquiry” and click the “Apply” button to the right to access the LOI form.
Once you have completed the form, please make sure to click “Submit” – draft LOI’s will not be considered by the foundation. You will receive an automatic reply informing you that we have received your LOI. This reply will include the date on which we will contact you to let you know if your organization will move forward to the proposal stage.
Step 2
If the Trustees express enough interest in your organization or programs, your organization will be invited to complete a full proposal. We will forward all instructions and deadlines. See FAQ’s for more details. If your organization does not move forward, we will make every effort to provide you with reasons and steps for possible future requests.
If you are unable to log in or have any issues submitting a LOI, please send a request via the foundation’s contact form.
