Submit a Letter of Inquiry
After confirming that your organization meets the foundation’s eligibility requirements, the next step is to submit a Letter of Inquiry.
We believe that your time is valuable and have developed a grant process that is streamlined so you can focus on your programs and participants. Before you prepare a full proposal we will determine if your organization and your request is in line with our mission and the current objectives of our Trustees.
In order to be considered for a grant, you must complete a Letter of Inquiry (LOI).
Once you have logged in to the grant portal, you will enter the “Applicant Dashboard” page. At the top of this page, in the black header, click on the “Apply” link.
Next, find the current open LOI cycle, for example “SGMF – Fall 2019 Letter of Inquiry” and click the “Apply” button to the right to access the LOI form.
Once you have completed the form, please make sure to click “Submit” – draft LOI’s will not be considered by the foundation. You will receive an automatic reply informing you that we have received your LOI. This reply will include the date on which we will contact you to let you know if your organization will move forward to the proposal stage.
If the Trustees express enough interest in your organization or programs, your organization will be invited to complete a full proposal. We will forward all instructions and deadlines. See FAQ’s for more details. If your organization does not move forward, we will make every effort to provide you with reasons and steps for possible future requests.
If you are unable to log in or have any issues submitting a LOI, please contact Susan Aspinwall at (404) 249-2800.
